Service Description

At this season of light change and remembrance of those who we honor, participants will pay tribute to those who have inspired and supported them along their professional journeys as play therapists, beginning with the first “spark” and moving forward to the mentors and then to those inspirers who continue to take us into the 21st Century. Major paradigms of theory and schools of practice will be acknowledged as forebearers of the future. The origins and mission of the Association of Play Therapy will be honored through remembering Charles Schaefer, Ph. D. This workshop will draw from the aesthetics of story and musical selections to carry a mood of reflective remembering and celebration. “When no one in the living world remembers you, you cease to exist.
